President of the Lutherwood Child and Family
Foundation
Peter Bjerland, President of the Lutherwood Child
and Family Foundation will provide our CAGP Roundtable
a presentation entitled "Meeting with the family: dealing with death and
estate issues".
Peter has been at Lutherwood for 23 years and has
previous experience in stewardship planning with the Lutheran church
("Stewardship" in the Christian context means using your resources in a
responsible manner - including planning for tithes and gifts) In his role
he has met with countless families as they have made plans to make
bequests to charity. His presentation will include some information on
general issues and themes that families and donors are
feeling about death when making estate plans. He would welcome some
lively discussion after his presentation.
